I really think your site is helpful. Thanks for helping. What happens if a pervert finds you???

What we hope is that through the information on the site, you will learn what you can do to keep safe online, so that pervs won’t be able to 'find' you. If you are ensuring that you careful about posting information and pictures, actually knowing who is on your friend’s list, and are not meeting people that you do not know no one should be able to locate you.

If you are ever in a situation where someone you met online approaches you in person you should contact your local police.

I was wondering if my website is safe. It is on piczo.com and I put a password on it. Only my friends know the password. I don't write where I live or anything but my name. Is it safe???

When you place anything on the Internet, whether you use a password or not, it is never totally protected. I'm sure you have heard about people that can break into other’s systems by figuring out their pass codes. If someone wants to and they have the techno know how, they could attempt to get into your page. That of course doesn’t mean that someone would.

If you have a site where your friends can visit, after they get the password from you, it is safer than having no password. However, you can never be sure that they have not given the password to someone you don’t know, or someone that you don’t want visiting your site. You have already made a good choice in not posting personal information however using a screen name rather than your real name would help protect you further.
